Ive been making homemade cheesecakes for some time now for family and friends. During this holiday, Ive made many varieties of my cheesecakes. Everyone raves about how great they are and have often been accused of not making them but buying them from a certain"...............Factory" lol ( all in gest of course). While researching North Carolina regulations on starting a home baking business i.e. cakes etc, Ive come to the realization I would not qualify to run the cooking part from my home. I have pets, and my cheesecakes have dairy products in them ( major ingredient ), thus in order to establish a business, I need to rent space from a commercial kitchen. Rates would have to be reasonable being im just getting started. It wouldnt be for a great amount of time, more so, on an "as needed basis" ( pay an hourly rate or daily rate). I would also need storage to keep the cheesecakes refridgerated. Any information anyone can provide or assist me with is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am starting up a new business, delivering homemade gluten free prepared meals (some catering), right now I will only need the kitchen once a month, as I do not have a large customer base yet, will eventually need it once a week to do all my meals for the following week.  Budget not large for rental $$ at first, also not using space a lot at first, can offer more $$ as kitchen is needed more, never more than twice at week at the very most.  I would prefer to do all my cooking on a Sunday, or Monday, but can work around whatever schedule you can provide.  Thank you.
